The film 'The Tell-Tale Heart' is a modern retelling of the gothic classic written by Edgar Allan Poe. It tells the story of a young man (James Browne) who struggles caring for his elderly father (Ronan Barry). The stress of caring for a loved one who no longer remembers him proves to be too much for the young man. 

Filmed in Dunmanway Co.Cork the film is shot and Produced by Epic Productions, Adapted and Directed by Patrick Ketch, Produced by Chris Cullen,  Shot by Justin MacCarthy and with an original score from Peter Power.  The film is a collaborative effort to create a modern version of the classic gothic story.
